Sevier County Jaycees
The Sevier County Jaycees, otherwise known as the Junior Chamber of Commerce, chartered it's members in January of 1955 in Sevier County and has been active since. We are volunteers ranging in age from 18 to 40 and are proud of our work and strive to help the community and leadership development.
We have sponsored community activies such as the Christmas Basket Fund and Relay for Life, and now actively participate with the Junior Miss Scholarship Program and Flag Service. We thank you for helping us to become the best chapter in Tennessee.
The Jaycees Creed
We Believe:
That faith in God gives meaning
And Purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man transcends
The sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by
Free men through free enterprise;
That goverment should be of laws
Rather than of men;
That earth's great treasures lies
In human personality;
And that service to humanity
Is the best work of life.
